General Tips
Even with the best care, wearing jewellery daily will naturally lead to a little rubbing, friction, and gentle wear over time — this is perfectly normal.
Plated layers may eventually fade or wear through; this isn’t considered a defect but part of your jewellery’s natural life cycle.
If you ever notice loose stones, damaged settings, or clasp issues, we recommend taking your piece to a trusted jeweller as soon as possible to prevent further damage.
If you believe your piece has a manufacturing fault, please don’t hesitate to contact us within your warranty period.

Care by Material
Sterling Silver
- Use: Mild soap, soft brush, or polishing cloth.
- Avoid: Silver dips on plated pieces and harsh abrasives.
Gold Plated / PVD / Vermeil
- Use: Warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
- Avoid: Strong cleaning dips, chlorine, perfumes, and polishing cloths made for solid gold.
Mixed Metal / Two-Tone
- Use: Mild soap and gentle wiping.
- Avoid: Aggressive cleaners or polishing compounds.
Semi-Precious Gemstones
- Use: Mild soap and a soft cloth. Do not soak porous stones.
- Avoid: Ultrasonic cleaners, heat exposure, or chemicals.
Pearls
- Use: Soft, damp cloth and store flat in a fabric pouch.
- Avoid: Soaking, chemicals, and rough handling.
Oxidised / Antiqued Finishes
- Use: Gentle cloth and mild soap only.
- Avoid: Polishing or cleaning methods that may remove the intentional darkened finish.

Australian Shipping
At Susan Rose, all jewellery orders are processed and dispatched within 2-3 business day of receiving the order. Customers receive an order confirmation, shipping, and tracking number for each delivery. If you need to make changes to your order, or your order is urgent please email enquiries@susanrosecom.au and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Order tracking
Tracking numbers are automatically sent as soon as your order is packed. Please check your junk folder if you do not receive one 72hrs after placing your order.

Local Pickup
We offer Click ‘n Collect from our store in Caulfield North - available Monday - Saturdays. Please check our opening & closing times online. You will receive a notification email when your order is ready for collection.

We are now excited to let you know we ship internationally! We currently have set fees worldwide and we aim to dispatch whiting 2-3 business days from our Melbourne warehouse!

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR CUSTOMS & DUTIES?
We ship from Australia, so if you’re an international customer you are responsible for customs & duties within your own country. For further information, we recommend contacting your local customs office.
DO YOU HAVE A STORE?
Yes, we currently have 1 store. However, this store is our warehouse and only offers online pick-up.
DO YOU DO CUSTOMISABLE PIECES?
At this stage we do not offer customised pieces.
DO YOU OFFER RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?

WHAT DO I DO IF I RECEIVED A FAULTY ITEM?
PleaseEMAIL USwith your order number and a photo of the fault. Once we receive your request we will arrange a replacement or refund for you.

PleaseEMAIL USwith your order number and style you’ve incorrectly received. Once we receive your request we will insure you receive your original order.
HOW CAN I USE A GIFT VOUCHER/PROMO CODE?
When you’re ready to checkout and are looking at the items in your cart, click proceed to checkout. You will then have the option to add your discount code or promo code to your order. Please note, only one discount code can be redeemed per order.
CAN I USE A PROMO CODE AND GIFT CARD ON THE SAME ORDER?
Yes! You can use a promo code and also your Gift Card in the same order. Gift Cards are a valid form of payment regardless of using a promo code.
WHAT CAN I DO IF MY PROMO CODE ISN'T WORKING?
Gift Cards are case sensitive so please check your caps lock. If you are still having trouble applying your promo code or Gift Card, please contact our customer care team here.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Shipping times will vary depending on where you are located. We are located in metro Melbourne and you can check Australia Post for delivery estimates.
Please remeber during busy periods shipping can be delayed.
CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
Our warehouse starts processing orders immediately after they are placed, we cannot guarantee that your requested changes can be made to your order prior to shipment. Please make sure you choose your items carefully and add the correct shipping before placing your order. If you have an urgent change contact our team straight away and we’ll try and assist with any change requirements as once the order has left our premises we are not able to make any changes.
HOW CAN I TRACK MY ITEM?
Once you order is dispatched you will receive shipping confirmation, along with tracking details for your order.
HOW LONG ARE GIFT CARDS VALID FOR?
Susan Rose Gift Cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. E-Gift Cards will receive an email notification with code to use at checkout, Physical Gift Cards will have code provided on the back of card.

IF AN ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK, CAN I BE NOTIFIED IF IT RETURNS?
Yes, you can be! Go to the product you wish to purchase, select the colour and size and when the style is out-of-stock an email address field will appear. Once you sign up, you will be notified once we receive delivery.
HAVE YOU RECEIVED MY RETURN
As soon as we receive your return back into our warehouse, you will receive an email confirmation. Please allow 3-5 business days for our team to process your return and your accounts to be credited.
